[He's careful as he stands up to not make a mess of everything set out on the blanket. And he offers Azul a hand to help him up as well.]

I find the sounds of the ocean relaxing, this was a lovely choice.

Do you want just the moonlight or should I start another flame to follow us?

I can see well enough in the moonlight. But if you need more light or warmth, by all means.

[He leaves his coat back with their other things but transfers something from the coat pocket to his pants pocket before he sets off.]

I would be laughed out of the Coral Sea if a little ocean breeze made me cold. As far as light goes, I can adjust for that.

[Pockets his glasses before leading the way, swinging their joined hands]

Just because other people would mock you for being cold doesn't mean I will.

[It's hard not to feel lighter in his steps with someone swinging his hand, although it feels so unlike him that he's almost surprised to find it happening.]

May I see your eyes?

[Laughs a bit, not unkindly just surprised and endeared]

Haven't you seen them before? But yes...you may.

I have, and I want them to be what I most remember of this moment.

[He puts a hand on Azul's face as he takes him in.

It's very sappy, but also Nanami is half expecting to see Azul's eyes with their ocean pupils as a response to the lower light. And he enjoys seeing those as well.]

[Leans into that hand, doing his best to not close his eyes, Nanami will be rewarded with a couple brief flickers of Azul's pupils fighting to return to their natural shape]

Oh? Should I save my other surprises for a different night then?

I'll be selfish and say 'no'. I want whatever surprises you have in store for me.

[Presses a kiss to the corner of his mouth before looking around to see if anyone else is around]

[He also does a small scan to make sure no one is around. Not sure what to expect from this, but he trusts Azul completely and his guard is almost completely down.]

[Steps back a bit, reaching down to wriggle out of his pants before taking his socks off, dropping each article of clothing onto the sand as it's shed]

[There's a short huff of amusement as he watches Azul strip.]

If you would like to. I certainly won't complain.

[Drops his shawl before heading into the water, back turned to Nanami, pulling his sweater off over his head and flinging it back to shore before disappearing under the waves. Just going to be quietly grateful for the cover that nighttime provides.]

[Most days he takes his time undressing to keep things as neat as possible, but he's just been given very good incentive to strip down faster than usual. So he gets out of his nice clothes, leaving them what he hopes is far enough up shore to stay dry. He heads stark naked into the surf until he's deep enough that his body changes shape and his legs and most of his torso are replaced with whale shark.]

Ah....it seems like it was a surprise for me instead.

I don't know how long I will be able to do this, so I'm glad you got to see it.

[And then he catches sight of Azul and he's struck again.]

Well look at you. This is a lovely surprise.

I am still far too proud that I guessed correctly.

[Swims in lazy circles around Nanami, looking him over]

It really does suit you, you know.

That means a lot coming from a professional.

[His body isn't nearly as flexible, so he ends up twisting himself around in a barrel roll trying to follow Azul's movements. The low light in the water makes it harder to see what this Azul looks like.]

Let me get a better look at you...

[Stops circling so he can swim up close to Nanami, bumping their noses together]

[He reaches out to touch Azul, feeling slow and sluggish underwater.]
